I joined Oppo about a year ago? Or at least I started reading it a year and a half ago some time there. It was back when I was applying for colleges and I thought that I'd be able to stay in California for college and my parents said that in return I could get any car I want and my inconsiderate-12th-grade-mind was ready to ask my parents for an IS-F, C63 or M3. Fast forward to now and if any of you went back in time to tell me that I'd be going to school in Oklahoma (with a major I love) and my list of college dream cars is now two Volvo wagons (850R and V70R), the IS Sportback, and a Legacy GT Wagon, I would've never believed you. It's all you Oppo people's fault LOL (for the wagons. HAHA)

Yep, the love of wagons is sort of a contagious disease 'round these parts. I call it d pillar-itis.

Awwww, always heartwarming to hear about kids growing up!
Unfortunately, I still haven't... Your parents feel like adopting a 24 year old? I think I could live with an M3 ;)

Are you saying he...
Wants the D?

I think my growing up just sped up too quickly, but now that I realized I won't get a car in college, the car I get coming out of college I'm already thinking about car seats, moving, where I'll be 7 years later and if the car would still make sense.
BLARGH. My parents are eating this responsibility up this middle-aged mindset that will eventually lead to a Camry LOL.

We all want the D.
(I am so sorry.)
(Not sorry.)

At least get an Accord Sport. 6MT, sport suspension, and 0-60 under 7 seconds.

Nope. Parents have already worked manual transmissions out of my head.

Woosh! That reference shot way over my head when I wrote that.

Never give in to the shitty econobox. I dare you to tell me why a camry is more practical than a swedish wagon!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Wait, if you say we made you love wagons, you should also be brainwashed for manual only too...

Nope. Only half way brainwashed. Never had the opportunity to drive a stick and we don't have one at home that my dad can use to teach me with.

So far it's cheap price, reliability, and there's a lot of car for that price.
Look at me.
Thinking about these things as a 19 year old that wants to ask his parents for a car.
I might as well be filing taxes and thinking about my 401k.

Do it a couple times. You'll be hooked. Trust me.

Stay longer and this will happen.

Other than having a manual transmission, the Miata is also something that this site hasn't got me hooked on yet. :[
